Lister Cutli - relaxed shearing for horse and rider

The extremely quiet (only approx. 66 dB) and smooth running horse clipper lies particularly well in the hand due to its slim and ergonomic design. The powerful permanent magnet motor guarantees perfect clipping results.

We recommend this clipper for the hobby user with 1-2 horses and breeds with normal coat (warmblood, Arabian, Holstein, etc.). For more robust animals (e.g. Norwegian, Icelandic, Shetty, etc.) or horses with Cushing's the motor power is too low. We would be happy to advise you on this subject by telephone.

The new DC motor

The general difference between an AC motor (alternating current) and a DC motor (direct current) lies in the design of the motors. While the AC motor electrifies both the stator (stationary component) and the rotor (rotating component), the DC motor electrifies only the rotor. The stator consists of a permanent magnetic field. This means that the DC motor requires a much smaller installation space, which means that the shearing machine housing can be made smaller and more ergonomic.

In addition, the DC motor technology is very energy efficient, a DC motor with 200W output is comparable to a previous 400W AC motor. During shearing, the DC motor also behaves much more robust. The torque of the DC motor is so strong that there is no noticeable reduction in speed even when shearing dirty fur.

The motor

The particularly low-vibration and low-noise motors with motor outputs from 10 to 430 watts enable unproblematic clipping in all areas of application.

Ergonomics

We attach particular importance to user-friendliness when developing our clippers.

Handy grip areas on the shearing machine housing and/or on the shearing head are just as important for shearing as low-vibration drive technologies and a balanced weight distribution of the entire shearing machine.

Air duct system

For many years, the partial air duct system used in most Lister shearing machines has proven its worth.

The air drawn in at the rear of the shearing machine is directed in a controlled and metered manner via the motor and the shearing head.

In this way, Lister clippers always keep a cool head even during continuous shearing.

The important oil

system As the shearing blades and drive elements are exposed to enormous loads during shearing, regular lubrication - with the shearing machine oil specially designed for this application - is necessary.

At intervals of max. 10 minutes (or even after 2 - 5 minutes in the case of dense fur) the shearing blades and, via the oil distribution channel, the drive elements should be regularly oiled. To avoid damage caused by incorrect oil, we strongly recommend using a special shearing machine oil.
