The LISTER shearing blade sets are also exchangeable with the common shearing blade models from AESCULAP, HEINIGER, DE LAVAL and HORIZONT.

The shearing blade set can be extended with the attachment comb 15-0206005 (not included). This allows a cutting height of approx. 10 mm to be achieved, e.g. for winter shearing.

Care tips for shearing blades and clippers:

The shearing:

The animal's fur must be as clean, dry and not sweaty as possible. Dirt particles in the fur, such as sand, ensure that the shearing blades have a much

shorter service life.

During shearing, it is extremely important to oil the shearing blades and the eccentric (shearing head) every 10 minutes at the latest. Please use only special shearing machine oil for this purpose

. The lubricating film ensures a low-wear operation and cools the blades and shearing head at the same time.

Shearing blades that become too hot wear out much faster. Allow shearing blades that have become too hot to cool down.

The contact pressure (plate pressure) of the shearing blades must be perfectly adjusted (follow the operating instructions of the shearing machine). Too little

contact pressure results in a poor shearing pattern. If the contact pressure is too high, the extenter and shearing blades are stressed too much and run

hot. The wear increases.

After shearing:

After each shearing operation, the shearing blades should be cleaned with a soft brush and freed of fur residues and greasy coatings.

Lubricate the shearing blades completely (cut surfaces, back and edge) to prevent the formation of rust. Shearing blades are best stored in a sheath

in a dry place (not in the tack room).

After inserting the shearing blades into the shearing head, oil the blades again a little and let the shearing machine run idle

for about 10 seconds.
