Adjustable pasture gate standard, height 110 cm, various lengths available

Fixed pasture gates provide convenient access to pastures, paddocks or paddocks and are a safe barrier for horses, cattle or cows. Especially for gate openings that have to be passed several times a day, grazing gates save the annoying hooking and unhooking of e.g. gate handles of the electric fence. This also facilitates opening and closing when leading a horse, e.g. to the riding arena or the paddock.

The gate is mounted with approx. 30 - 50 cm ground clearance. This brings the top rung to a height of approx. 140 - 160 cm. Gates should always be mounted so that they can be opened towards the animals (into the paddock). If the animals press against the gate here, it will be pressed against the gate post. The load is therefore not only exclusively on the gate latch.

Tips from AVERDE:

Large gate openings with long grazing gates are advantageous for access with larger machines. However, the longer the grazing gates are, the less convenient they are to operate. For daily access for people, with wheelbarrows or even with single, guided animals, gates with 120 - 150 cm are ideal. However, if a large access is needed, it is recommended to use a second grazing gate or a double wing.
