Pipe connector type 182 - Adjusting ring with hook, parallel, 1 1/2" (Ø48.3 mm)
Adjusting ring with hook parallel to the pipe run.
Technical data:
Dimension A: 41 mm
Dimension B: 25 mm
Pipe Ø : 48.3 mm
Pipe Ø in inches : 1 1/2"
Weight : 0.21 kg
Screws : Stainless steel
Material : Malleable iron
Surface : Hot-dip galvanized
Tool : Hexagon socket 5/16" (approx. 8 mm)
Important notes:
Pipe connectors and pipe clamps are designed for steel pipes. They are not suitable for stainless steel and aluminum pipes.
Inch measurements of pipe diameters (outside diameter) are not the same as inches (25.4 mm).
In the past, the dimensions referred to the inner diameter of the tubes and the outer diameters were correspondingly larger (at 1 inch, about 33 mm). Over the decades, new manufacturing processes and better steel grades have made it possible to produce thinner-walled tubes. Since tools (taps, etc.) and accessories were already available for the "old", larger outside diameters, the outside diameter was retained and the inside diameter of the tubes expanded.
That is why "inch" pipe dimensions are defined metrically today. Please inform yourself before buying which clamp / pipe connector fits you.
Please refer to the following table:
Pipe size in inch = outside diameter in mm
Pipe 1/2" = Ø 21,3 mm
Pipe 3/4" = Ø 26,9 mm
Pipe 1" = Ø 33,7 mm
Pipe 1 1/4" = Ø 42,4 mm
Pipe 1 1/2" = Ø 48,3 mm
Pipe 2" = Ø 60,3 mm
Pipe 2 1/2" = Ø 76,1 mm
Pipe 3" = Ø 88,9 mm
